These sessions will start Sunday 23rd February and will finish Sunday 5th April. This is a 6 week course at a cost of £36.

  • These are 2 hour long sessions, so please make sure your children bring a snack and water bottle (there are water fountains at the venue to refil and two cafes at the venue)
  • There won't be a session on the 29th March

  • Please be aware that for these sessions your children will need to bring a Boat over to ratho, if this is any issue please let Tomas know as he can arrange boat transportation

What we will provide

These sessions are aimed at improving your child's canoeing and kayaking. Our qualified coaches will teach in small groups of 8 so that your child will get lots of opportunity to learn and have fun. Our autumn sessions are a progression from the sessions your child has already attended with us and we will build on what they have already learned and will use a lot of games to ensure the learning remains fun. At the end of the course our aim is to assess your child and will award a certificate marking their level of achievement.

For insurance purposes any paddler who comes to the club more than 3 times MUST become a club member this is why anyone who signs up for any course automatically becomes a member. FCC are not able to provide a discount for the paddlers who are already members.

How to find us

Sessions will be run at Ratho Climbing Arena, South Platt Hill, Ratho, Newbridge EH28 8AA

What your child should bring with them

We ask that children bring a bottle of water and a snack with them
