Organiser's Description

Scottish Running Week is a very special week where the entire running community including clubs, jog groups, schools, offices, gyms and event organisers celebrate the positive impact that running and athletics has, while raising funds to support disadvantaged communities across Scotland in aid of Athletics Trust Scotland.

So whether you’re a club, school or business that likes to have fun while raising money for a worthwhile cause, get involved and register for one of the events today!

You can read more about the impact that running & athletics can have on peoples lives here.

SRW is delighted to have The University of Edinburgh Sport & Exercise as our headline partner. Last year, was Scotland’s first national running week and this year, we are back with an important theme is ‘inclusivity.’ And with this, all funds raised throughout the week will be used to give disadvantaged communities that are underrepresented in the sport a chance to take part in athletics and running. We will do this through our Transforming Lives Grant Fund – given out to organisations and clubs throughout Scotland who also share our mission.

By taking part in one of our events at Scottish Running Week,  you will be helping to raise funds and awareness to help ATS continue their work in supporting those who have not had the opportunity to experience the positive and life changing effects that running and athletics can have.

If you would like to support our mission to support disadvantaged communities even more, you can take part in one of our events, fundraise as part of Scottish Running Week, via the justgiving link here or simply donate directly to us here
