Ruby Young Monarch Financial Services Halloween Running Festival

Join us in Kilmarnock on Sunday 31st October for this celebration of Running and Halloween with these 2 great events. Proceeds from all events go to Ayrshire Cancer Support. Thanks to our sponsors Monarch Financial Services.

1. Ruby's One Mile Fun Run at 10.30 at the Ayrshire Athletics Arena (AAA), Queens Drive, Kilmarnock, KA1 3XF. This includes kids Halloween games - dooking for apples etc. Registration is from 9.30.  Cost is £3.

2. The Ruby Young Monarch Financial Services 5K Road Race at 11.00 also at the AAA. There will be a start at 10.45 for participants planning to walk the course. Registration from 9.30. Cost is £11 (less £2 for SA members).

This is the 30th running of this event, held in memory of Ruby Young, one of Kilmarnock Harriers most popular members, and which has raised over £39600 for charity.

The mile fun run will be run on the track. All participants are encouraged to wear fancy dress for which there will be special prizes. The 5K is on a figure of 8 course starting and finishing on the track and incorporating roads and trails surrounding the AAA.

We regret the 5K course is not suitable for wheelchairs but wheelchair users are very welcome to participate in the fun run.

We have a limit of 100 for the Fun Run and 200 for the 5K. Entries on the day will only be accepted if these limits are not reached.
