The Stonehaven Half Marathon and Team Relay

Starting point and registration : The McRobert Pavillion, Glenury Park, Stonehaven AB39 3PY

The Stonehaven Half Marathon is run in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the sports’ governing body - Scottish Athletics Federation. SAF has issued the Race Organisers with a permit to hold the races which under the Terms and Conditions stipulate that:

• Runners taking part in the Half Marathon or Team Relay must be over 17 years old on the day.
• No buggies or wheelchairs are allowed in any of the events.
• It is essential that the Race Organisers abide by these age requirements in order that the appropriate insurances are not compromised.

Enter Online by Friday 1st July or by post by Monday 25th June; entry to the Half Marathon costs £15 (£13 for SAF members). Entry to the team relay costs £40 per team.

Everyone will pick up their race numbers and timing chip from the Registration area on the day from 9.00 am to 11.00 am and fix the timing chip to your running shoes and the number to the front of your running vest/shirt. 

A mini-bus will transport relay team members to each relay changeover point; the team captain must make sure that each team members knows when they need to be at the waiting point for the bus. 

At the end of the race remember to remove and return your timing chip.

When you finish the race you will be given a goody bag, and food and refreshments will be available for all runners.

If you present your running number to the Stonehaven Outdoor Pool you will be entitled to a free swim (on the Sunday only).

Changing facilities including showers are available in the McRobert Pavilion.

There will be a 1k fun run held at the park soon after the race has started; this is open to any age, free to enter, no registration required and a medal for every finisher.
