Welcome to the 28th Moffat Road Race over 15km (9.3 miles), which is the premier race in the Moffat Gala Festival of Running 2013.

This scenic road/hill race is a key feature of the town’s annual Gala Week and is organised under UK Athletics rules with open and local prizes.

Although locals are eligible for open prizes all competitors are restricted to one prize only.

Route Details - the first 3.75 miles undulates with a subtle but gradual rise of 350 feet.  This is followed by the most challenging part of the route, just under one mile of steep track rising 550 feet.  Care should be taken here with the track being stony and uneven in places.  On reaching the top, there is a spectacular 4.6 mile downhill descent back into Moffat town centre on the A701.

Closing Date for entries will be 1st July 2013 or earlier if our limit is reached.

   If the race is not at full capacity, there will be a LIMITED amount of late entries permitted here at
EntryCentral until Friday 5th July 2013.

Race Night late entries can be made in person at the Town Hall between 17:00 and 18:45.
ALL LATE ENTRIES will incur an additional £3 administration charge.

Race not suitable for novelty fancy dress.

Mementoes to all finishers.

Prize Giving at approximately 21:00.

No substitute entries permitted.
