Glasgow running club, Springburn Harriers has a great tradition in Scottish athletics. Formed in 1893, and now in its second century, our club is one of the oldest running clubs in Scotland. Based in Bishopbriggs, to the north of Glasgow, it continues to cater for both male and female athletes and runners.
Please join us for our Tuesdays sessions and/or Thursdays at 19:15 at Huntershill, off Crowhill Road, Bishopbriggs. On Sundays, club members also meet near the LeisureDrome, Balmuildy Road, Bishopbriggs at 09:30 for the longer, slower run and some chat. We are keen to incorporate fun into the training. This extends out with training to the various social and fun events organised throughout the year.
A warm welcome is always assured regardless of fitness, so please feel free to come along and try for yourself. Training is organised in groups according to ability and new members are always welcome. Being a club member provides company with 'like minded' individuals, friendship, security and training sessions taken by our Scottish Athletics qualified coaches.
