The Trowbridge Triathlon is back for its fourth year, with Race HQ once again at the Trowbridge Sport Centre and the Clarendon College.

Triathlon England have chosen The Trowbridge Triathlon as one of the qualification races for the South West Triathlon Series 2012.

 The 400m swim takes place in the superb six-lane swimming pool and the 26k bike tours the surrounding villages of Southwick, Dilton Marsh and North Bradley. The 5k run is a flat course on a mixture of tarmac and grass paths.

All competitors will also receive a FREE ‘The Wiltshire Times Trowbridge Triathlon 2012’ event T Shirt courtesy of Sportsbug, who will also have an onsite shop at the event on race day.

DB Max Triathlon Club are proud to be supporting The Wiltshire Air Ambulance as our ‘Charity Of The Year 2012’ and donations made from competitors will be forwarded to this great cause.

Race Distance:400m pool swim, 25k bike, 5k run.

Race Start:Wave starts from 9:00 to 11:00.

Race Entry:Online entry price: £27 BTF, £30 Unnattached.

Venue: Trowbridge Sports Centre (postcode BA14 0DJ).

The event will be chip timed with our partners at DB Max (DB Max Precision Timing) providing all the results and race splits.

The event is suitable for eveyone from beginners to advanced athletes. All road-legal bikes are welcome including mountain bikes - bikes will be checked to ensure race-legal prior to racking in transition. Hot food & refreshments, showers and toilets are all available on site.

NB.Please note that the timing transponders that enable us to time the splits and transitions as well as the bike laps at speed, are expensive. You must return your timing chip immediately after your race. Failure to do so will result in the issue of an invoice for £75.00 for the replacement cost of the transponder. This forms part of the terms and conditions you agree to by entering this race.
