Welcome to G.S. GAZZETTA.
“G.S.” stands for “Gruppo Sportivo”, “Sporting Group” - A classic Italian cycling reference relating to the members of a cycling club. G.S.GAZZETTA is now open for membership and is registered with British Cycling and Cycling Time Trials.
G.S. GAZZETTA was established as a branch of the now closed website, La Gazzetta della Bici. The members of G.S. GAZZETTA are truly international giving the club the great advantage of sharing unique knowledge and love for cycling.
Founded in the spirit of the Italian 'Gruppo Sportivo', membership to G.S.GAZZETTA is open to all cyclists, of all abilities, regardless of location or status, and our club is one of inclusion. One of the clubs objectives is to promote cycling as an important positive tool towards the best physical and mental health for us all.
Fondazione Gazzetta
Part of G.S. GAZZETTA is a fund raising foundation known as FONDAZIONE GAZZETTA, which has been set up to fund the development of a youth team. As such, G.S. GAZZETTA is actively a club for all riders, from beginners through to experienced cyclists. The two primary aims of FONDAZIONE GAZZETTA are simple. As a not for profit organisation any money generated through sales of our club kit and merchandise will be used to help raise funds for the future development of young riders.
Alongside the youth team FONDAZIONE GAZZETTA will actively promote the work of MIND and RETHINK, two of the UK's leading mental health charities. The founding members of G.S. GAZZETTA are dedicated to raising the awareness of cycling and its relationship to good mental health.
U.K. AND International
G.S.GAZZETTA is run and administered in London, with team members helping us run branches of the club throughout the UK and internationally.
The founding members of G.S.GAZZETTA are a group of friends first and an international group of cyclists second. Linked to the internet and founded through the social media networks Twitter and Facebook, G.S.GAZZETTA has an advantage over more traditional cycling clubs, as our voice can be heard throughout many different communities and classes and bring people together regardless of their status, background or geographical location.
