Melville club are pleased to hold the 3rd round of the SACU Hare & Hounds Championship at Ingraston farm, Near West Linton, EH46 7AA . This is the same venue we have used for the past few years, and we thank the farmer for allowing us this privelege. [p >No Littering and riding in the pits...
We want to continue holding events here so please respect the farmland and tidy up after yourselves, and leave no litter.
No Power Washing
Even just using water, this is working farmland and goes back to crop growing when we leave.
Overnight Parking
Overnight parking will be available on the saturday evening for those of you racing on sunday. We would ask that generators are switched off by 10pm and no bikes to be started between 8pm Saturday evening and 9am Sunday morning. Your co-operation in these matters would be much appreciated.

Ingraston Farm, is situated on the A702, 3 miles south of West Linton, and is on the west side of the road, and is signposted.
SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS
Melville Motor Club scotland (ltd)
Organised under the rules of the SACU and the Standing Regulations of the ACU for Hare and Hounds events, together with these Supplementary Regulations. Eligibility. Open to any type of off-road machine. 3 hour Adult solos. Experts, Over40, Clubman, Clubman ’B’, Sportsman. 2 hour Adult solos. A & B. The course will be part sand motocross track & forest. Riders aged 16 & 17 must have their entry accompanied by a signed Parental Agreement form.
Eligibility
Open to any type of off-road machine, Adult solos only. (Expert), (Over 40’s),(Clubman),(Clubman B) and (Sportsman)
Closing Date
Entries close 10pm, Wednesday the 5th of June 2013. I will email out your rider number , but please put down preferred number if you have one.The Venue will be signposted with orange day glow arrows on the A702 , 3 miles south of west linton.
Signing On- Between 9am & 10am.
Scrutineering Between 9.30am & 10.30am.
Helmets and competition licences must be shown - Machines should be brought to the starting line 15 minutes before the start time, at 11am.
Scrutineering
Scrutineering will be carried out under SACU Hare & Hound Regulations. Riders are to present themselves to the scrutineers with helmet, dog tags, boots, gloves and their machine. All machines must be scrupulously clean.

There will be a riders briefing at 10.40am

Refuelling/Repairs
Can only be allowed in the designated PITS/REFUELLING area. Every competitor should have a fire extinguisher adjacent to his fuel. Engines must be stopped while refuelling. An environmental mat should be used while machine is at standstill & fuelling. Only riders, officials and 2 authorised helpers per rider are allowed in the pits & refuelling area. ANY MACHINE/RIDER WHO LEAVES THE COURSE OR PITS AREA WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE RETIRED.
