| Solway Sportive is not open for public entries yet, and it is currently being tested by its organisers. You will not be able to make a test entry unless you have a relevant password. A cycling challenge for biking enthusiasts and newcomers, all ages, and all styles of bike. Suitable for all with a basic level of fitness. Short 30km Loop (£5) Dumfries New Abbey Beeswing Lochfoot - Dumfries A challenging longer 115km Loop (£15) Dumfries New Abbey Dalbeattie Kircudbright Gelston Haugh of Urr Dumfries. *(Note add £5 for entries on the day.) Half the money raised will be donated to Help For Heros. Venue HQ: Dumfries Rugby Club, New Abbey Rd, Dumfries, DG2 7LU. Registration: from 8am and at least 20mins before start time. Start Times: Long loop 9am 10am / Shorter Loop 10 10.30am. Random spot prizes! Individual Certificates with times + Tea/ coffee on finishing. Feeding stations on both routes for top up reserves. You will need appropriate clothing including a helmet, adequate food and water and bike repair kit. | |
