A flat 5k race around Hackney Marsh.

The route is a loop around Hackney Marsh, overlooking the 2012 Olympic site. We are also delighted to be able to offer a fun run for younger children (please note this event is free and entry is strictly on the day, just come along and register to pick up your number). The 5k course is run on tarmac and short grass, but is unfortunately inaccessible to wheelchairs due to the nature of the surface when wet.

RACE START: 12.00 noon

All runners will receive a goody bag.

We regret that we are unable to offer refunds for this event.

The race is held under UK Athletics rules, license number 2009-100354. The course will be different from 2009 (as Hackney East Marsh is being taken over for the Olympics). It will be re-measured on behalf of UKA to confirm its accuracy.
