Two2go Lee Valley Trail Marathon | Start Location | | | Event Information | Two2Go Lea Valley Trail Marathon
The fourth race in the series leading up to 2012, the Lea Valley Trail Marathon is truly unique, set along the tow paths of the River Lea between St Margarets in Hertfordshire and Hackney Marsh. This is a point-to-point route which is mainly traffic free. Most paths are well surfaced.
Start: 10.00am - St Margaretsbury Sports Ground, St Margarets, Herts.
Finish: Hackney Marsh East, overlooking the 2012 Olympic site.
The race is held under UK Athletics rules, license number 2009-100353 and has been re-measured on behalf of UKA to confirm its accuracy.
This year Two2Go has joined up with charities Age UK and TACT, both very worthy causes. There is an option to make a donation to either charity on the registration page, so please give generously!
If we have enough interest, we will be organising a coach service to transport participants to the start point and back after the race, picking up at Straford and Hackney Marshes in the morning and returning to Stansted St Margarets in the afternoon. It will cost £5 per person per journey. If you are interested, please choose from the following options:
