Alistair Lees Memorial XC TT

A Cross Country TT on a challenging course in Innerleithen. The course will be marked out on saturday afternoon, check the website for confirmation. Riders who want to do a practice lap on sunday morning must sign-on first, and should be aware of their start time, and MUST start their practice lap before 10am. No practicing on the course during the race please. The race will be run under BC Mountain Biking rules.

Entry and Sign-on

Race sign-on will be in the Forestry Commission carpark on Traquair road, and open from 09.00-10.30. First rider will start at 11.01. Entry £12-£15 via www.entrycentral.com until 5pm on the friday before the race. Entry on the day if places available, race will be closed at 120 riders. All riders will complete one lap of the course. Prizes will be awarded for Senior Men, Vet Men, Junior Men and Women. Over 14's only, riders aged under 16 must be accompanied and signed on by a parent or guardian. The trophy, kindly donated by BikeTrax, will be given out in the Vets Male category. RIDERS MUST RETURN THEIR NUMBER BOARDS AFTER THE RACE.

Catering Full catering service will be provided on site by the Innerleithen Rotary club with the Rice Risotto van serving risotto, soups, sandwiches, tea coffee etc. There is no water on site, there will be a couple of portaloos.

Marshalling & First Aid We will be looking for help with marshalls and first aiders. Will also pay £15 expenses or free entry at another of our events to riders marshalling at one event. Contact helenmfindlay@yahoo.co.uk or icycles@btconnect.com if you can help. Marshalls must be aged 16 or over.
