Fritton Lake mid-week Aquathlon series (race 1) | Start Location | | | Event Information | Fritton Lake mid-week Aquathlon series (race 1) is not open for public entries yet, and it is currently being tested by its organisers. You will not be able to make a test entry unless you have a relevant password. An Open Water Aquathlon series consisting of four races with a 400m lake swim and 2.5km run. The races are open for adults and juniors aged 13 upwards. All age groups will complete the same distances.
This is a race series and prizes will be awarded to the best performing athletes in each age group over the series taking into account their best 3 race results.
Fritton Lake is one of the most beautiful stretches of water in East Anglia, extending two and a quarter miles from end to end and covering 150 acres. The lake is considered the jewel in the crown of the historic Somerleyton Hall estate, which covers 5,000 acres.The Aquathlon takes in all of the beautiful aspects provided by Fritton Lake Country Park that includes an open water swim in the lake followed by a run on the marked trails through the country park.
