Now in its 7th year with DB Max, the 'Chilly' Duathlon is a race over the classic Castle Combe distance of 2 mile run/ 10 mile bike/ 2 mile run at the famous Castle Combe Race Circuit.

The event continues to grow and was the biggest duathlon in the South West in 2011 with over 600 competitors entered in November.

The event will be chip timed (DB Max Precision Timing) providing all the race splits and bike lap times (includes the 'fastest lap challenge').

The event is traffic-freeand suitable for beginners through to speedsters. All road-legal bikes are welcome including mountain bikes (we've even had a Penny Farthing and a postman's bike in previous races) and your bike will be checked to ensure it is suitable prior to racking it in transition. Hot food & refreshments, showers, toilets and warm areas are all available on site.

This race will be part of the Big Adventure Store 'Chilly' Duathlon Series 2012 with the other race at Castle Combe on November 25th. It will also be part of the Big Adventure Store Spring Duathlon Series 2012 along with the Stephen Graver Ashton Duathlon on April 1st and the Big Adventure Store Hullavingotn Duathlon on April 25th.
You will have the option to enter both of these series when completing the online entry for this race.

NB.Please note that the timing transponders that enable us to time the splits and transitions as well as the bike laps at speed, are expensive. You must return your timing chip immediately after your race. Failure to do so will result in the issue of an invoice for £75.00 for the replacement cost of the transponder. This forms part of the terms and conditions you agree to by entering this race.
