Edinburgh RC, supported by the East of Scotland Cycling Association and Scottish Cycling presents the Eastern Promise Road Race on the Howgate Circuit. The race is for all categories, male and female, from Elite to Veteran and Junior. The race HQ is at Rosewell Pavilion and the race then runs three time around the undulating and demanding Howgate Circuit before its finish at Cauldhall Moor. The total distance to be races is 43 miles.

The race starts at 7:00pm and will finish about 2 hours later. Cost to enter is £20 with discount of £10 if you have a SC Race Licence (tick the box which asks if you are an SC Member)and entering in advance or an extra £5 for entry on the day.

The race HQ and sign-on will be open from 5:30pm. At sign-on, competitors must present their licenses, which will be returned in exchange for their race numbers after the finish. Sign-on closes at 6:45pm. The race will run under the rules of Scottish Cycling. Drinks (tea/coffee/juice) and snacks will be available after the race.
