BLDSA MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN FOR 2013
BLDSA - The BLDSA was formed by a group of keen swimmers in 1956. At that time there was no organisation in place to look after or to promote the interests of long distance swimmers. The BLDSA has since its origins developed the rules under which swims are completed, recorded and recognised. By becoming a member of the BLDSA you become eligible to enter BLDSA swimming event across the country.
There are 3 categories of personal membership
Senior Swimmer (16 years and over) - Adult Non Swimmer - Junior Swimmer (over 12 and under 16 years old)
Membership period - Membership runs from 1st January (or when you join that year) to 31st December of the year.
Non UK Residents - Non UK Residents must provide evidence of membership of their governing body or individual insurance for entry into Open Water Events. Please forward details to the BLDSA Membership Secretary, Mr. V. Classen.
AGM VOTING - In order to be eligible to vote at the A.G.M. membership renewal must be completed prior to the date of the meeting. Membership fees cannot be accepted on the weekend of the A.G.M. |
