| Dunblane Hydro 7.5 mile Road Race 2010 is not open for public entries yet, and it is currently being tested by its organisers. You will not be able to make a test entry unless you have a relevant password. Entries for the Doubletree Dunblane Hydro 7.5 miles Road Race 2010 are now CLOSED. Registration will be in the McLeod Suite of Dunblane Hydro between 11am and 12.30pm, where you will be given your timing chip and race number. The start will be at 1pm with a runners briefing a few minutes before then. Toilets are available in the McLeod Suite, and other parts of the hotel. Belongings can also be left in the McLeod Suite, but we can't take responsibility for them. Parking - you won't be able to park in the grounds of the Hydro on race day. However, there is ample parking close by. Please do not try to park in Perth Road (the main road as you enter the Hydro), as this is part of the race route. More info on parking is on the race website www.dunblaneroadrace.com The railway station is 5 minutes walk from the Hydro. The Race - is mostly on quiet country roads, but bear in mind it is not a closed road race and some traffic will be encountered. Keep to the left, and take extra care as you come back into Dunblane and pass Tesco, and especially as you cross the main road to re-enter the Hydro just before the finish. The route is heavily marshalled. If you do drop out please let a marshal know - First Aid cover has been kindly provided by Ochil Mountain Rescue, and we don't want them out looking for you needlessly. | ||||||||||
