The Buchlvie 10K is organised by Sarah Gleave whose aim is to ensure that it continues to be "one of the best 10Ks in Scotland". This year the numbers have been limited to just 325. The route is an out and back along a disused railway line.

The race is run under UK Athletics Rules and is a Scottish athletics permit event.

There will be no entries on the day of the race.

Race Numbers will collected on the day from the village hall fro 11am

Clear route maps will be posted near to the Start. The route is well signposted. The organisers are being assisted by Central Scotland Police, and a number of voluntary marshals. The safety of all is paramount and it is a condition of entry that competitors must follow the instructions of the Police and the marshals.

There are some very special prizes to be won but the very least you will get is a T Shirt.

Ample free car parking is sited close to the start, with toilet facilities and warm up area close.

There will be a childrens fun run at 12.30 pm close to the main race finish area. Entries will be taken from 10:00 am in the village hall. The fee is £5.00, which is donated to charity and each runner will receive a medal.
