Race Details This triathlon is possibly the most picturesque in the UK – with the run section taking participants through the narrow streets in the coastal town of Stromness. The triathlon starts at the swimming pool on the outskirts of Stromess, with the cycle taking the competitors along an “out and back” course through “undulating” countryside. The roads are open for this event, and although normally quiet, participants are reminded that road safety and compliance with the highway code are their responsibility. The route will be marshalled and signposted.

This is a Triathlon Scotland Ranked event (pool swim). Team/relay entries are actively encouraged.

The 20k out and back cycle takes competitors to the North West of Stromness on an undulating course on quiet and well signed roads.
