Swim at mouth of River Doon (freshwater) - wetsuits compulsory; 1 lap cycle public roads (undulating/a few short climbs); 1 lap run dirt trail/public roads (undulating/1 short climb).

Estimated swim time will help organise swimmers into ability groups ensuring a smooth and safe swim start for all.

Note that a minimum age category of Youths A (15-16) applies in this race. Parent/guardian consent will be required for this age category therefore Youth entrants must use an entry form after which the approved entry will be added to EntryCentral.

Ayrodynamic Triathlon Club reserves the right to curtail/amend or otherwise alter the race routing as local conditions prevail. In the rare case that river conditions require cancellation of the swim section, the event will take place as a run/bike/run duathlon.
