Club Information.

Edinburgh Triathletes is one of the largest, friendliest and most successful triathlon clubs in Scotland. Membership is now open for the 2010 calendar year. Our members range from novice right up to age group world champions. Members participate in all distances from sprint, standard, half and full ironman not to mention aquathlons, adventure races and off road MTB endurance events. A wealth of knowledge and experience is given out by our trained coaches at club sessions throughout the week.

As a member you are entitled to:

• ...attend and participate in our club training sessions
• ...join our members-only email list (including weekly "what's on" guide) and website forum
• ...a discount at some Edinburgh-based stores,
• ...receive our famous newsletter, "TriBull"
• ...rent club equipment at attractive rates
• ...purchase the famous purple club kit!
• ...your prized club membership card!! :-)

The club year runs until the end of January 2011. The club has three membership catergories (Gold, Silver and Bronze). Gold membership, in addition to the member benefits listed above, will also entitle the member to unlimited coached swimming lessons, for only £100. Silver will entitle the member to one coached swim session per week and cost £65. Student membership will cost £65, but entitle the member to Gold membership benefits. There will be the opportunity for new members to try out the coached swimming sessions before commiting to the Gold or Silver packages. Bronze membership is for those that can't make or do not wish to take advantage of the club's coached swimming sessions, and costs £25.

Please remember - you have to renew any race licence direct with triathlonscotland, not through the club.

We have a few of questions in the membership form about how long, if at all, you've been a member, and which club events you can help at. Gullane is currently scheduled to be towards the end August. We'll have more details soon on the exact date and also on the children's aquathlons. Please take the few seconds required to complete the boxes - your club needs your help at these events. In addition we will be looking to distribute the Tribull electronically. If you would still prefer yours delivered the traditional way you can opt in to do so.

Do note that at this time the club does NOT have a juniors section.
