Neath Valley Triathlon
Neath Valley Triathlon is now full, but you can join the waiting list if you wish. We will reserve a place for you on the waiting list. If a place becomes available, the organiser will contact you to confirm that you still want a place, and will then email you a payment invitation. If you wish to pay by cheque, you can send a cheque when you have filled out your form, and a place will not be reserved for you until the organiser receives it. 400m POOL SWIM, 22km ROAD BIKE and a 3km ROAD RUN. This is the Second year CelticTri has run this event after a very sucessful first season. The event is aimed at novice level with a view introducing newcomers to the sport but is not exclusivley a novice event. The bike route is the same as last years, from Glyn Neath pool, down along the B4242 to the turn around point near to the Ynys y Gerwn cricket club, Aberdulais, Neath and back along the same stretch of the undulating road, the run is also the same as last year, from the car park at the pool, across the road and off along the reclaimed colliery land adjacent to the B4242. Race referees, Marshals and Medical staff will be on hand to guide you through the event. Your bicycle must be in roadworthy condition and a cycling helmet must be worn and secured at all times of the bike section as per BTA rules. This is a non drafting event. Entry to the race is £22.00 to all individual athletes,and £36.00 for relay teams £2.00 will be refunded to each athlete on the day if BTA or WTA membership cards are produced. There is ample parking and facilities for competitors and easy to find just off the A465 at Glyn Neath. Enjoy the race and we look forward to seeing you.
