Norwich Sprint and Standard Triathlon Event Information
Tri-Anglia Triathlon Club are pleased to host the sixth Norwich Triathlon at Whitlingham Country Park, Trowse, Norwich .
The park is located three miles out of Norwich city centre and within easy reach of the railway station and the A47/A11. The event offers something for everyone; Olympic distance, Sprint distance, and an Olympic Relay Race (and a fun run for the children).
All races start from the innovative Whitlingham Outdoor Centre and comprise of a single lap swim around the Great Broad, a calm inland water with exceptionally good water quality. The single lap cycle course heads out of the park on undulating B roads, taking in open countryside and villages, before turning onto a long fast section, then descending back towards Norwich. The run is for the Olympic and Olympic Relay is two lap course (unequal) of interesting off road sections, lakeside tracks and tarmac road, the Sprint race is a single lap run (first lap of the Olympic run course).
