30th Annual Royal Deeside Triathlon/Duathlon Tweet
Start – Highland Games Arena in Braemar, Scotland – Finish in the City of Aberdeen Registration - 09.00hrs Start - 10.00hrs Event Date - Sunday 5th May 2013 Entries Closing Date – Sunday 28th April 2013 Race organisers contact email - royaldeesideduathlon2013@gmail.com Bike: 36 miles Braemar to Shooting-Greens Car Park. Run: 11 miles Shooting-Greens Car Park to Crathes Bridge. Canoe: 15.5 miles Crathes Bridge to Aberdeen Boat Club OR Bike: 13 miles Crathes Bridge to Leggart Terrace. NOTE: INCLUSION OF CANOE SECTION WILL DEPEND ON WATER LEVEL OF RIVER DEE - BE PREPARED TO CYCLE INSTEAD.
Team entries: One person must meet entry criteria for relevant section (i.e. one person must be TriathlonScotland member or race licence holder. Teams can comprise two or three persons.
Fee includes: Prizes, post race refreshments and that warm post-race glow at the end for competitors.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: ALL CYCLISTS AND CANOEISTS MUST WEAR HELMETS. NO HELMET-NO RACE.
Entries close on Sunday 28th April 2013. Entries after this date will be accepted at the discretion of the race organisers and will incur a £4.00 levy. NO ENTRIES WILL BE TAKEN ON RACE DAY. TriathlonScotland membership cards and race licence cards must be shown at registration. Since both events finish a considerable distance from the start, it is essential that all competitors have a backup crew to transport bikes and/or canoes, etc.
Food will be provided in the form of a buffet served at Aberdeen Boat Club. Showers and changing are available.
