Glasgow Nightingale Cycling Club - Lake APR Event Information
The Lake APR is one of the traditional early season events, held on a circuit based around two laps of Scotlands only Lake (the Lake of Menteith), route available on the club website. This year we have added a ladies race the Lake APR "Feminine" for up to 30 riders.
The Lake APR (Australian Pursuit Race) is a handicapped event, riders will be placed according to ability. Therefore the 'best results' box needs to filled in, incomplete forms will result in riders being placed in the 'Scratch' group with the largest time gap to make up, if no previous results, enter 'no results' in the box, but don't leave it blank! If you have time trial times from the last two years also enter these.
Entry is £15 on or before 14th March, thereafter entry will be £18, enter early to avoid the large entry fee. There is an 80 rider field for the men and a 30 rider field for the women.
We have winners jerseys being manufactured, so all categories are welcome to take part and will be handicapped accordingly.
