Thank you for accepting the invitation to join this event!  It will be great to revive the Edinburgh Secondary Schools Athletics Event for this cohort and for the years to follow.

A few details:

When you are entering, there are two seperate entries, one for an S1 team, and one for a S2/3 team.

The form can be filled out by a teacher or relevant person within the school (the site doesn't let us change this from parent/guardian).

If you can fill out the names of the students competing and which of the run events they wish to enter.  Each team of 4 will have one girl and one boy racing the 100m and one girl and one boy racing the 600m.  They will then all do both the Shot putt and Long jump.

We expect schools to arrive between 9am and 9.30am for a 10:15am start of the first event.

There is drop off for buses in front of meadowbank stadium.  There is also a small car park but this fills up fast and might have a charge depending on whether the barrier system is up and running by then, a section will be reserved for officials.  There is also on street parking in the surrounding streets should you need it.

The events will culminate with a small prize giving by a representative from Eric Liddell foundation to recongnise the shared values.

We will look to wrap up the event by about 2:30pm giving you time to get back to school before the end of the school day.
