Scott's mini fun run

The mini fun runs is part of the Giacopazzi's Gelato Eyemouth Twilight 5K Jog Run is organised by  Eyemouth Development Trust and will take place on Friday 23rd of  August 2024 at 7pm

ENTRY FEE    £ 2 per child

 REGISTRATION

 Registered online and pay , then at Registration on the night from 6pm we will just need your child's name and they can be marked of as attending , 15 minutes from the start of your child's mini fun run age group you will be called to the assembly point  , marked on the night , then  they will then be walked to the start point for there Distances, parents/ guardians can walk or run with them .

Remember it is not a race , its the taking part what matters .

Health and Safety

  ● Please remember that start / finish area is beside a harbour So please look after your children. 

  ● If you are running with your child , please be mindful of other children in front in case they fall or you trip them up ,this is a FUN RUN not a RACE !

There is limited parking at the co op car park There is a car park beside Eyemouth Leisure Centre PLEASE PARK RESPONSIBLY

CHANGING FACILITIES
There is no changing facilities available . Public Toilet facilities are available at  the co op car park . And at Giacopazzi's 

The organisers accept no responsibility for injuries loss of clothing or

The course Goes along harbour road , which will be closed to traffic , and will have different distances  for each fun run age group

Please clear at the finish area as soon as you can.

Medals will be presented to all finishers as they cross the line.

RACE DATE
The Giacopazzi's Gelato Eyemouth 5K is organised by Eyemouth Development Trust  and will take place on

Friday 23th  August 2024 at 8pm

ENTRY FEE,  Scottish Athletics Members- £10.00 , Non member- £12.00 No refunds will be given. Entries  online only ,late entries will only be accepted on the day if spaces are available !And will be charged £18.00 if  space is available, and only if space is available  !

 REGISTRATION

Registration will take place outside Giacopazzi's on harbour road eyemouth, 

Registration opens at 6pm on the night.

Numbers can be collected from the registration, please wear number on front of top/vest and is visible

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Health and SafetyClear route maps will be posted at Registration.  The route is well signposted and marshalled by volunteers, but it is on public roads.  The safety of all is paramount and it is a condition of entry that competitors must follow the instructions of the marshals.  All runners should enter emergency contact details on the back of their number. To ensure runner safety the wearing of Headphones will be strictly prohibited.

There is limited parking within Eyemouth Town Centre. PLEASE PARK RESPONSIBLY

RACE START and Finish
 Scotts mini fun run starts at 7pm

 Giacopazzi's Gelato Eyemouth Twilight Walk jog run starts at 8pm

the start and finishes is on harbour  road outside Giacopazzi's 

THE COURSE
The course goes along harbour road , up the boat yard hill and along the avenue on the path on the right , to the crossing point at the avenue,  then follow footpath path around the golf course , there is marshalls at each crossing point at stebbings rise , golf course entrance,  car park , as you come around the corner at the fish market stay on path you will run along in front of life boat station and then cross the red bridge onto the middle pier , please be careful as it is a working harbour and life boat might be called out , after coming back onto harbour road you will pass the start / finish area running along the bantry on the left hand side before reaching the turn point on the bantry where you will run back on the right to the finish outside  Giacopazzi's,  the harbour road and bantry will have cones and tape to divide the out and back section. And will be well marshalled 

Please clear the finish area as soon as you can and please do not disturb timekeepers.

REFRESHMENTS 
Water will be available at the finish of the race.

RACE PRIZES
Medals will be awarded to all finishers at the end of the race.

RACE DATE

ENTRY FEE    Scottish Athletics Member- £10.00 Non member- £12.00 juniors £6  11-16 years of old .No refunds will be given. Limited entries will be accepted on the day charged at £18.00 but only if spaces are available!

Juniors must be 11 yrs and over and under 16

Registration will take place outside Giacopazzi's which is next to start and finish.

Registration opens at 6pm on the night Race Numbers can be collected from the registration

area.

RACE START and Finish
The Start and finishes will be this year on harbour road next to Giacopazzi's 

THE COURSE
The course Goes along harbour road , up boat yard hill along the avenue to crossing point then follow footpath around the golf course  footpath there is junctions at stebbings rise and golf course and the car park they are all Marshalled at the harbour you cross the red  bridge and  onto middle pier and then back on  harbour road where you will  follow the course along the bantry and double  back to the finish outside Giacopazzi's, On the bantry part of the course you will be  running anti clock wise and it will be divided with cones .
