Race Description:

Glen Lyon Ultra Marathon is a 31mile foot race held in the stunning remote Glen Lyon in the Perthshire hills.

The route starts with a loop of Loch Lyon with around 6 river crossings which means your feet will get wet. On completing the loop of Loch Lyon you will pass through the start/finish area to collect your drop bag. The route will then climbs the hill over into the remote Glen Lochay were you will complete a high and lowlevel route before climbing back over the hill and down into the finish in Glen Lyon.

There are water stations at 8, 15, 20, 27 miles and only one drop bag will be allowed at the halfway point. Camping is available on the Friday night at Glen Lyon Dam where you will also find runners toilets. 

Runners will be required to carry manditory kit which will be outlined in the race briefing sent out 3weeks before the race. This will include a small first aid kit for running repairs. Runners are reminded to read and understand the full race briefing and should ask any question if they are any doubt about any information within "I didnt know" is not an excuse for being DQed.

Refund Policy:

• Withdrawal 30 days from entry will result in a £15.00 administration charge to process refund.
• Withdrawal after 30 day upto 12 weeks before race day will result in a 50% refund offered.
• Withdrawal between 12 weeks and race day will result in 0% refund being offered.
• No deferrals will be offered.
• No transfer of race places between runners
