Almost Athletes are again pleased to be hosting the Bugatti 10k, a scenic and undulating one-loop course primarily on quiet rural roads. It is based, and finishes, at the Prescott Speed Climb venue. The race started out as a 5-miler from the Bugatti Inn at Gretton before evolving into its present 10k guise at Prescott.

The race is chip timed (thanks to LuSH timing) and is a certified 10k distance, with markers at every kilometre and water station a little over halfway through. The route features an undulating beginnin gand end with a flat middle section, but is suitable for runners of all abilities. Medals are given to all finishers.

Prizes are awarded to:

• Male & Female 1st, 2nd & 3rd,

• MV40, MV45, MV50, MV55, MV60, MV65, MV70, MV75, MV80+

• FV35, FV40, FV45, FV50, FV55, FV60, FV65, FV70, FV75+

• Male and Female team prize (first three home with club affiliation and wearing club vest).

Please note any runner winning a 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize will not be eligible for an age category prize (i.e. they will not win 2 individual prizes).

Entry fee is £17 (£15 for UKA-affiliated athletes) until the closing date of Friday 4th August. 

Race HQ and parking is at the Bugatti Owners Club (Prescott Hill Speed Climb, GL52 9RD). Registration is from 5.30 to 6.30pm at Race HQ, after which a race briefing will be given (6.45pm) and we will make our way to the start, about a 5-minute walk away. Race start is at 7.00pm.

Please be aware that any (non-UKA-approved) personal listening devices are not allowed - you must be able to hear traffic and marshal instructions.

Toilets are available at Race HQ but there are no changing / baggage facilities (please put / leave your belongings in your car). Post-race refreshments are available at the Clubhouse bar, where the prize presentations will be made.
